When individuals encounter stressful life events, it is common to feel as though your life is unravelling.
My passion is to offer healing to those who are experiencing these stressful life events by helping children, families, and individuals gain new perspectives and strengthen relationships.
There is no approach which fits everyone's needs, so I have made every effort to be trained in a variety of modalities, including; Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Reflective Family Play Therapy.
I have had the honour of serving the families and soldiers the Canadian Armed Forces, working within a residential women's addictions centre, and supporting the medically fragile, palliative and grieving.
I am especially interested in working with parents and their little people to improve family cohesion. I take a unique approach which, consists of analyzing structured play sessions involving all members of the family, including babies!
Please reach out if you are interested in working together. As a registered care provider with Homewood Health, my sessions can be covered through your Employer’s Assistance Program (EAP).
